All wooden material on this plan is 3/4 inch thickness (18mm). You need only 2 sheets of plywood or lumber. MDF is not recommended in this project.
Also you need 5 thread rods around 32 inch and bolts.
You can prepare most of the parts with circular saws and in only 2 pieces you will need jigsaw. Also you need drill.
